Leave the commies alone!

Ottawa memorial risks offending communists

Add communists to the ever growing list of groups you can't offend in this country. Members of the National Capital Commission are worried that a memorial to the 100 million killed under communism, aptly named “Memorial to the Victims of Totalitarian Communism”, might hurt the feelings of poor Canadian communists. How long until the communists weasel their way into being a "protected group" under the Human Rights Act? Then the CHRC could take up their case!
"I was unsettled by this name, and other members of the committee agreed with me," Hélène Grand-Maître, one commission member, said at the public approval hearing. "We should make sure that we are politically correct in this designation.... I feel this name should be changed."
You find it unsettling to name the regime that these people were murdered under? Isn’t it more unsettling that 100 million people were murdered in the name of a sick ideology?

Stop putting everything under the scrutiny of political correctness and give the victims the recognition they deserve – that they were killed because of communism. Not recognition that they were abstract “victims of oppressive regimes”, as one NCC member suggested.
"One commissioner questioned whether Canadians could even legitimately point fingers at the brutality of Stalin or Pol Pot, given that our own federal government had put Japanese-Canadians in internment camps during the Second World War."
There is a big difference between interning Japanese-Canadians during a time of war and slaughtering 100 million innocent people. Regardless, Canada already has at least one memorial dedicated towards the Japs.
"Incriminating communism as a general ideology might be "unduly critical" of Canadians who still carry a torch for Karl Marx."
The name has already been changed from “Memorial to the Victims of Communism” to “Memorial to the Victims of Totalitarian Communism”, since there are so many historical instances of democratic communism. We wouldn’t want to wrongly lump those regimes in the same group as totalitarian communism.

Please, show me an example of a peaceful, non-oppressive, communist regime. It doesn't matter what the ideology looks like on paper, what counts is what happens when it’s put into practice. Also, why should we care about adherents of an ideology that has absolutely nothing to do with Canadian values (or what should be, anyhow)? Maybe this type of criticism is no longer appropriate with Canada’s steady decline into its own oppressive regime. Or maybe it has something to do with the fact Canada is afraid of angering a certain communist trading partner?
"It's ridiculous to try and write the crimes of communism out of history," he says. "If Canada had a Nazi party, does that mean it would be verboten to criticize Nazis?"
This offends me. Please demolish it.

Rabbis arrested for corruption

Black market probe nets mayors, rabbis

Rabbis involved in organ trafficking, laundering money through charities, and counterfeiting? Their religious values have clearly instilled in them a great sense of morality. Lets continue to funnel billions of dollars to this religion overseas, and let it exert control over the Western world.

The joys of multiculturalism

Family members charged with murder in submerged car case

Those in favor of immigration usually have a few different approaches as to why immigration and the resulting multiculturalism is beneficial to Canada. They often say that immigrants will help to enrich Canadian culture by adding their own to it. I'm sure Canadian's really want to enrich their culture with muslim honor killings.

Immigration supporters also say that immigrants will enter our country, adapt their culture to ours, and abide by our laws. Killing four women, three of which were teenagers, and dumping their bodies in a canal is certainly not abiding by Canadian law. Their family members justified killing them because they didn't approve of their lifestyles. Yeah, that's right in line with Canadian values.

These people have no desire, and will not adapt to our culture, nor abide by our laws. Stop letting them in.

They're not being racist, they're doing their jobs

Harvard professor Gates arrested at Cambridge home

While the Gates and the majority of the press are screaming racism, its pretty apparent this is not a racial issue if you actually look at the facts.

I'm certain anyone's neighbors would call the police if they saw someone breaking into a house on their street, regardless of the persons race. To them, it would appear whoever it was, whether white, or black, was committing an illegal act.

Its been reported that Gates was arrested for disorderly conduct for "exhibiting loud and tumultuous behavior". Now lets examine what else the articles say:

  • Gates accused the police of being racist, and of only targeting him because "he was a black man in America" (Of course he wasn't targeted because it looked like he was breaking into a house)
  • He said the police "had no idea who they were messing with"
  • Gates yelled at the officer inside his home, when he requested his ID
  • He followed the officer outside and further yelled at him

This sounds like a pretty clear cut case of disorderly conduct if after the police had left his house, he followed them outside and started screaming at him in the middle of a residential street.

Lets summarize: Uppity edchumacated black man does something that appears to be illegal. Police arrive, and are accused of being racist by Gates for trying to stop what they thought was a crime in progress. Gates yells at them, causes a scene, and is arrested, leading to further accusations of racism.

You know what the result of these false cries of racism is going to be? Black criminals will be given a free pass to do whatever they like because police and citizens alike will be to afraid of being called racists to stop it.

Race-mixing & genetics

Certain people have come up with the senseless idea that mixing races will benefit people's genetics.

Somehow in their skewed logic, two white people out of a population of approximately a billion Europeans are so genetically similar to each other that the offspring they produce would be inferior to those of two racially different parents.

Anyone with half a brain could call bullshit on this “theory”. If you have one parent with superior genes, and one parent with inferior genes, the result is logically going to be somewhere in between, which destroys the genetics of the superior, European parent.

Those in favor of race mixing are usually the ones that claim that "race doesn't exist", so I find it interesting that they were able to make the genetic distinction necessary to put forward this theory.

Anyways, here’s a little something I’d like to bring to the attention of those that think mixed raced people are genetically superior.

Mixed-race patients struggle to find bone marrow donors
"If Nick Glasgow were white, he would have a nearly 90 percent chance of finding a matching bone marrow donor who could cure his leukemia.

But because the 28-year-old bodybuilder is one-quarter Japanese, his doctor warned him the outlook was grim. Glasgow's background would make it almost impossible to find a match, which usually comes from a patient's own ethnic group.

The doctor "didn't say it was slim-to-none. He didn't say it would be hard. He said 'zero chance.'"

And here I was thinking that race was just a social construct...

Laying out the welcome mat for terrorists

Abdelrazik back in Canada after six years in exile in Sudan

The Canadian government is knowingly letting a terrorist return to Canada. According to the UN Security Council blacklist committee, Abdelrazik is a “senior al-Qaeda operative personally acquainted with Osama bin Laden and a key member of a Montreal terrorist cell”. The United States has also asserted similar allegations against him.

So why did our government return Abdelrazik to Canada?! The Canadian government clearly cares more about the well being of a terrorist than the security of its citizens.
